Nonprofit Client Delivery Lead & Accountant

Through our expertise, we aim to strengthen the foundation and sustainability of nonprofits.Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Nonprofit Client Delivery Lead & Accountant. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both nonprofit accounting work and helping improve organization, communication, workflow visibility, and overall client delivery across the firm. Client Delivery CoordinationHelp track deadlines, deliverables, and client workflow across the team.Monitor client status and identify potential issues or bottlenecks early.Assist with coordinating work across bookkeepers, accountants, controllers, and CFO resources.Help ensure client work is completed accurately and on time.Escalate risks, delays, or workflow concerns when needed.Support onboarding and transition processes for new clients.Internal Operations & Team SupportHelp improve consistency and accountability across client engagements.Support development and organization of workflows, templates, and SOPs.Assist with maintaining visibility into workload, priorities, and staffing needs.Participate in weekly client delivery and workflow meetings.Help improve communication and coordination across the team.Support a collaborative and organized internal work environment.What Success Looks LikeImproved workflow visibility and organization.Reduced operational bottlenecks.Strong client satisfaction and communication.Better coordination across the team.Increased consistency in internal processes and client delivery.Reduced founder involvement in routine workflow management and follow-up.Growth OpportunityThis role is intended to grow over time as the business continues to scale. There will be opportunities to take on increased leadership, workflow oversight, and client coordination responsibilities as appropriate.We are looking for someone who is interested not only in serving clients well, but also in helping strengthen and improve how the firm operates overall.
