Social Media Coordinator | Job Description, JBJ Soul KitchensThe Social Media Coordinator reports to the Marketing Manager with responsibility to the Marketingteam.Job Status: Part Time, paid positionResponsibilities:Social Media ManagementPlan and execute monthly social media calendars, including creating posts with content andcopy for approvalsMaintain and update platforms as needed (profile pictures, bios, linktree, etc)Schedule approved posts and posts in real-time as neededMonitor and respond to comments and direct messagesEngage with other accounts through liking, commenting, and sharingManaging multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)Content Management & CreationCollect content from staff and organize in Dropbox or other systemsBrainstorm and develop new content ideas with the Marketing ManagerAssist in designing graphics, flyers, and other promotional materialsBasic photography and video support for social media contentMarketing & Communication SupportAssist with drafting emails on a as needed basisMonitor and respond to online reviews on platforms such as Google and Yelp for bothlocationsEvent SupportTravel as needed to support marketing at JBJ Soul Kitchens eventsAssist with event management, including coverage of new menus, events, and activities at JBJ Soul Kitchen locationsSupport other digital marketing initiatives as neededQualifications:1–3 years of experience in social media management or marketing coordinationStrong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, and TikTokMust be located in either Ocean or Monmouth CountyAbility to create and manage basic Facebook and Instagram AdsInterest and experience in copywriting and content creationKnowledge of Canva and basic graphic design skillsPhotography and video skills a plusStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentSchedule:Part-time, flexible hours with occasional weekend or event coverage
