Senior Commercial Construction Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Superintendent to lead field operations and support successful project delivery.Job DescriptionThe Sr. Superintendent is a critical member of our Field Operations team, responsible for leading the field execution and delivery of construction projects. This role works closely with Project Management and Field Operations to manage projects using defined processes, tools, and industry best practices, reporting to the Director of Field Operations.This position will lead jobsite operations including safety, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, quality control, and communication across all project stakeholders. The Sr. Superintendent plays a key role in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while building strong relationships with internal teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.This role requires travel and the ability to work remotely while representing Precision Contractors in a professional manner.Job Responsibilities· Lead and manage all day-to-day jobsite operations, including safety, quality, schedule, and coordination of subcontractors.· Establish and enforce jobsite standards, including safety protocols, organization, communication, and meeting cadence.· Collaborate with Project Managers and Field Operations to plan and execute projects successfully.· Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules, including 2–3 week look-ahead schedules.· Review construction documents, identify conflicts, generate RFIs, and ensure work aligns with plans and specifications.· Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring work meets contractual scope, quality standards, and timelines.· Coordinate inspections, permits, materials, and site logistics.· Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and progress tracking, including daily logs and photos.· Proactively identify and escalate project risks, issues, and changes to Project Management.· Support cost control by validating change orders, tracking T&M work, and preventing unauthorized work.· Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and manage punch list completion.· Foster a positive, professional jobsite culture and lead by example.Qualifications· 5–10+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent.· Strong experience with ground-up and/or tenant improvement projects.· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.· Strong leadership, communication, and subcontractor management skills.· Experience with scheduling, Procore, and Microsoft Office.· Ability to travel and work remotely.· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities.Compensation & Benefits· $100,000 – $130,000 salary range plus travel incentives.· Company truck or monthly allowance.· Medical insurance with employer contribution.· 401(k) with company match.· Flexible PTO, bonuses, and travel per diem.
