About the Role This role leads the design and implementation of a DevOps platform on AWS to support the migration of COTS products from on-premises environments to the cloud. The engineer will establish infrastructure standards, build CI/CD pipelines, and define best practices adopted across both infrastructure and development teams. Responsibilities Design and implement AWS-based DevOps platform architecture supporting enterprise-scale COTS migrations Build and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application delivery Author and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or OpenTofu Migrate COTS products from on-premises environments to AWS cloud infrastructure Establish and enforce DevOps standards and best practices across infrastructure and development teams Configure AWS CloudWatch monitoring, alerting, and metrics dashboards Collaborate with multi-team environments to drive adoption of cloud-native tooling and workflows Required Qualifications AWS cloud platform experience Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or OpenTofu GitLab CI/CD pipeline creation and management AWS CloudWatch monitoring and metrics COTS product migration from on-premises to cloud environments Desired Qualifications AWS Serverless services — Step Functions, Lambda, S3 Hybrid cloud architecture design Cloud governance and compliance frameworks Experience establishing DevOps standards across multi-team environments Why engineers join Benz 15% employer 401(k) — vested day one, no match required 28 paid days off per year $7,500 annual tuition reimbursement $2,500 training & development budget 28 years in business — our engineers stay through recompetes
