The ideal candidate has 3+ years of estimating experience with a general contractor, a solid understanding of multifamily construction, and the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for multifamily residential projects ranging from $5M to $50M+Analyze plans, specifications, and addenda to develop accurate and competitive bidsSolicit, review, and level subcontractor and supplier bidsCollaborate with project managers, architects, and owners during preconstructionIdentify scope gaps, value engineering opportunities, and risk itemsMaintain and update historical cost data and bid databasesParticipate in owner presentations and scope review meetingsSupport the project team during buyout and procurement phasesQualifications3+ years of estimating experience with a general contractor — multifamily experience requiredStrong understanding of multifamily construction methods, materials, and systemsProficiency in Bluebeam, Excel, and estimating software such as Procore, On-Screen Takeoff, or similarAbility to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and civil plansStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids under deadlineExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred — equivalent experience consideredWhy Join UsCompetitive salary and performance-based bonusComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision401(k) with company matchStable pipeline of work with room for advancementCollaborative and supportive team culture
