Takes remedial actions when needed.Assumes the responsibility of Charge Nurse when needed and as assigned.Instructs patient/caregiver on tests, procedures, treatments, medications in understandable terms.Attends interdisciplinary conference, representing department and relaying nursing observations.Implements emergency response to crisis situations in the absence of senior management.Provides a minimum of two in-services annually.Participates in identifying and implementing training needs for nurse development.QualificationsValid RN licensures as required by state regulations.Current RN licensures appropriate to state regulations.CPR certification (ACLS preferred).CRRN® certification required.Two years of experience in inpatient hospital setting preferred.Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
