At TransWest we believe our people are the key to making us successful on a daily basis, so we want to invest in you!Compensation: $25.00 - $25.50 / hourPay range is inclusive of potential safety bonus Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance 401k with matching Annual pay raises Quarterly safety performance bonuses Holiday pay Uniforms provided Paid Time Off up to 80 hours with increasing amounts based on your years of service Paid DOT medical card & physicals Paid training to receive Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement Responsibilities: Transport business clients to and from scheduled routes safely and reliablyConduct daily vehicle safety checks on assigned vehicles and report any defects in a timely manner; complete all required operations documentation fully and accurately dailyCreate a welcoming environment and deliver seamless experience for corporate commutersMust be professional and safety mindedPerform DOT daily inspections on assigned equipment and fuel equipment as necessaryProvide excellent customer service in every interactionMaintain vehicle cleanlinessOther duties as assignedRequirements: Must be at least 21 years of age Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record 6 months of professional driving experienceMust pass pre-employment DOT drug test Able to communicate proficiently in English Able to work independently, yet be able to take direction Able to pass a criminal history background check Current/Active DOT Medical Card (Can be obtained during hiring process) Physical RequirementsAbility to remain seated and operate a vehicle for extended periodsAbility to enter and exit vehicles, including vehicles with stairs, multiple times throughout the shiftAbility to perform routine vehicle inspections, which may involve bending, reaching, or kneelingAbility to lift, move, or position items weighing up to 50 lbsAbility to communicate clearly with passengers, dispatch, and team membersAbility to maintain focus and alertness while driving in various weather, lighting, and traffic conditionsAbility to perform the essential driving functions required to operate the assigned vehicle safely and in compliance with DOT and company standardsTransWest Culture: Come join our close-knit team.
