Systems Engineer 2
Description Captivation Software is looking for a senior level systems engineer who will provide system engineering, software development, testing, and delivery of modernized analytics that support system and data compliance while meeting operational needs of the agency. The candidate will act as the TTO Lead and System Engineer working with a small team of software engineers contributing to a system that directly supports mission customers. This position resides in the Processing & Analytic Capabilities organization, focused on the development, test, and maintenance of analytics supporting the operational needs of the customer.
Responsibilities
Provide system engineering, software development, testing, and delivery of analytics solutions that meet operational needs and compliance requirements.
Lead and collaborate with a small team of software engineers to develop and maintain analytics supporting mission customers.
Contribute to the design, development, integration, and validation of analytics systems within the Processing & Analytic Capabilities organization.
Security Clearance
Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph; candidates must be U.S. citizens.
Minimum Qualifications
Fourteen (14) years of experience as a systems engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
Five (5) years of additional systems engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Compensation and Benefits
Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (depends on years of experience)
Up to 20% 401(k) contribution (no matching required; vested from day 1)
Above market hourly rates
$3,600 HSA contribution
