Job DescriptionThe primary responsibility of the Food Runner is to expedite all food orders taken by the Bartenders and Cocktail Servers to the guest quickly.ResponsibilitiesServe food in a timely manner. Ensure food order is correct before serving the guests. Monitor tables closely and be attentive to guests’ needs. Describe in detail the preparation methods and ingredients of all the menu items. Carry multiple dishes (up to 3 at one time) in one hand without tray service. Passionately informs guests about Gordon Ramsay, his history, and current business endeavors. Refresh flatware after each course or upon guest request. Maintain a clean and organized work area/station. Ensure work area/station is clean and always stocked. Ability to work from a standing position for extended periods of time. QualificationsMust be 18 years of age or older Work requires 6 months’ previous food server / running experience.Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.Must present a neat and professional appearance.Work requires interactions with customers, public and co-workers.Work requires teamwork with other staff members.Nevada Food Handlers' Certification Union ReferralAdditional RequirementsFast paced, high volume environment involving constant public.Requires carrying serving trays weighing up to 15 lbs. and may require lifting bus tubs weighing up to 40 lbs.Shifts may vary based on business needs.Must be able to tolerate secondary tobacco smoke.About UsThe Cromwell is the Strip’s first and only, stand-alone boutique hotel and casino.
