We take pride in delivering expert diagnostics and high-quality repairs to ensure our customers can count on their equipment for critical sanitation and environmental services.If you're a skilled technician with a passion for heavy equipment and a commitment to reliability, apply today and join a team that helps keep communities clean, safe, and running efficiently!Essential Duties:Builds knowledge of dealer supported product lines, service standards, and procedures and keeps abreast of all changes in various models of equipment sold and serviced by the distributor.Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Service shop and Factory standards.Vehicle inspection including factory warranty repairs, computer diagnostics and programming.Attend local, regional, and national service schools and training sessions as requested.Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment not only in shop but also at customer sites.Utilize various equipment and tools to include, but not limited to hand tools, power tools, testing/diagnostic equipment, cranes and hoists.Foster close, positive working relationships with all service, parts and administrative personnel.Other duties as assigned.Essential Qualifications:2-year Diesel Technician/Mechanic degree or equivalent experience.Minimum 3 years working in a full-time technician/mechanic role on heavy duty chassis.Valid driver's license with acceptable driving recordHydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical experienceWelding/cutting torch experienceExcellent skills in communication, interpersonal, organizational and attention to detailWorking usage of MS Office Suite and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.Desirable Qualifications:Direct industry experienceClass B CDLADA Requirements:Bend, squat, climb, grasp, twist, reach, lift or otherwise move frequently for extended periods.Lift, move or otherwise transfer up to 50 lbs. frequently, or more occasionally.Walk, stand, or otherwise move about continuously.Typically sits, grasp items and performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer.Exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards including chemicals which may require respiratory protection.Compensation: In accordance with Minnesota pay transparency requirements, this role offers a salary range of $27.00 - $47.00 per hour, with final compensation determined by experience, skills, and internal equity.This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed; it is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required for the position.
