Remediation and Other Waste Management ServicesWaste CollectionAdministration of Environmental Quality ProgramsWaste Treatment and DisposalRestaurants and Other Eating PlacesPosition will be based at Cheniere Facility (Sabine Pass) near Port Arthur, TXPOSITION DESCRIPTION This position would be the liaison between the Cheniere Facility and the SET operations group while performing onsite waste management for the site. This would include but is not limited to: Maintaining the site waste tracking spreadsheet dailyPreparing shipments to SET and other established waste vendorsBeing the point of contact person if there are compliance related issues regarding wasteHousekeeping in 90 Day Waste Storage Area, including required inspections, and quality control of outgoing loads prior to leaving the site to ensure load is acceptable per DOT regulations as well as the tracking of the material once it leaves the site up until the return manifest copy is receivedPerform weekly visual inspections of items such as but not limited to Satellite Accumulation Areas, perform sampling, and maintaining waste management supplies such as drums and spill response materialsBe a subject matter expert in areas concerning waste management and interact with different Athlon labs on a daily basis via phone, email, and/or in meetingsOther duties assigned as neededPOSITION REQUIREMENTS B.S. Degree in Environmental Studies or related fieldMust have 2+ years of practical field experience including hazardous waste handling, lab packing, chemical consolidation, manifesting, and scheduling rental containersCompetent Computer Skills, including MS OfficeExcellent verbal & written communication skillsProven self-starter and highly motivatedObtain and keep current all certifications/licenses required (i.e., 40 Hour HAZWOPER Training, forklift certification, medical certification including respirator use)Must have knowledge of all RCRA and DOT regulationsAbility to lift 50 lbs
