Floor Production WorkerJob #: 106091Location: Fairview, PASalary Range: Starting at $15.00 per hourPosition: General WarehouseDescription:Production WorkerThis is NOT a supervisory positionEducation, prior work experience and specialized skills and knowledge:This position requires basic math competency.Good eyesight and color perception.Must have basic English communication and reading skills, in order to understand work instructions and safety issues.Physical Requirements:The position could involve sitting, standing, reaching, stooping, bending, walking, and moderate lifting throughout the workday.This position requires long periods of sitting or standing.Occasional side-to-side motion is needed while moving boxes to their next station.No Heavy lifting is required (50+ lbs).Equipment and Machinery used:SolventsConveyer BeltsAssembly MachinesPlastic BagsCardboard boxesTape dispensers, and other materials necessary to perform the shipping and receiving processMust be able to work as a part of a TEAM.Floor Attendant will bring the required parts to the workstation and will remove boxes from the workstation.Technician and/or Quality Control will explain the requirements of the job.Job Duties Include:Placement of created parts to their appropriate place.Loading and unloading trucksBaling cardboardGeneral warehouse dutiesQualifications:Computer experience is a plusGood communication skillsAbility to read and write clearly and effectivelyReliable attendance and strong work ethicSubmission to a criminal background check
