Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Correctional Facility. Employment Type: Contract (flexible with shift availability is a plus). We are seeking an RN to join the healthcare team at our client’s medical facility and provide high-quality patient care in a correctional setting. Job Details: Full-time schedules 12-hour shifts Some weekends may be required Contract position (flexibility with shift availability is a plus) Key Responsibilities: Perform health screenings and physical examinations Triage, assess, and treat inmates’ chronic, acute, psychological, and medical needs during incarceration Conduct mental health assessments and provide appropriate care Administer medications, perform wound care, and deliver other interventions as directed by medical staff Serve as a first responder in emergency and crisis situations Carry out general nursing duties including cardiac monitoring, catheter management, venipuncture, IV therapy, and diabetic care Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment (must be in good standing) Minimum of 1 year of relevant RN experience
