ESY Summer 2026 - Staff Middle and High School

TO: All Teaching and Administrative Personnel Brockton Public Schools FROM: Dr. Kathleen Moran, Executive Director of Human Resources RE:2026 Middle and High School - Extended School Year (ESY) Program Middle/High School Teaching, Support, and Related Service Providers The following summer positions are being advertised for Special Education Extended School Year Summer Programs, pending approval of the FY'27 school department budget. DATES OF ESY PROGRAM: JULY 6 to August 6 (Times Vary depending on position) LOCATION: Brockton High School SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERS (7 a.m - 12 p.m.) (Up to 40) Preference will be given to teachers to with experience in working with students with autism spectrum disorder, emotional impairments, city resource room, life skills, and msn teachers. HIGH SCHOOL ESY PROGRAM: Paraprofessional (7:15 - 11:45 a.m.) (up to 100 total-including 1:1) Paraprofessionals (given number of students participating) (Lifeskills, ASD, CRR, SEL) *Preference will be given to paraprofessionals with experience working at the High School level in the above-mentioned programs HIGH SCHOOL ESY PROGRAM: Related Service Providers (7 a.m. - 12 p.m.) 2 SLP/SLPA, 2 OT/OTA, 1 PT, BCBA, 1 A.P.E HIGH SCHOOL ESY PROGRAM: Counseling (7 a.m. - 12 p.m.) 5 Therapeutic Counselors, 1 guidance counselor Teachers and related service providers up to (22) days up to 5 hrs/day at contract rate Teacher preparation and planning hours must be approved by ESY Coordinator Support staff (21) days 4.5 hrs/day at contract rate Van monitor is per hour rate All Staff must have an updated CORI on file and may be required to complete the following duties: Lifting & Toileting Funding: Local Compensation: According to BEA Contract Refer any questions to Jami Langley, Associate Director of Exceptional Learning
