Network Admin/Engineer

Senior Network AdministratorWe are looking for a senior Network Administrator to maintain a reliable, secure and efficient data communications network. The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment in order to ensure smooth network operation. The candidate would have 7+ years of infrastructure administration and 5+ years of experience in network administration preferably using Cisco products.This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.ResponsibilitiesFully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate routers, switches, load balancers and firewallsInstall and integrate new network hardware and appliancesSupport and administer third-party data feedsEnsure network security and connectivityMonitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency) and test for weaknessesResearch and make recommendations on network system administrationSpecify system requirements and design solutionsWhat We ValueExcellent critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skillsExperience in managing large scale, multi-location projectsExcellent written and verbal communicationEducation & Preferred QualificationsBachelors degree required7+ years of infrastructure technology administration5+ years of network administrationKnowledge of Cisco route/switch and Palo Alto firewalls preferredCCNA required, CCNP or CCIE preferred, PCNSA or PCNSE preferredExperience with Cisco DNA Center and NDFC is a plus3-5 "Nice To Have" AttributesKnowledge of Cisco DNACKnowledge of Cisco NDFCCCNP or CCIETop Three Must-Haves5+ years of route/switch experienceCCNAAbility to work in a team atmosphereDay To Day ResponsibilitiesDesign and deploy new network equipment in IMS West data centersAssist end users with issues or requestsIdentifying issues as they ariseBusiness UnitIMS WestRequired Software SkillsKnowledge of Cisco hardware and softwareInterview Process2 interviews, initial ~30 minute interview will be with me and follow-up technical interview with Chaiporn. There will be no test.Work ModelHybrid. At least 2 days in the office each week. Preferably Wednesday and Thursday but those days are flexible.
