Python Coding Instructor - Sundays (NYC) We are a private training school specializing in coding and web development education for adult students looking to change careers and grow their skills. We are looking for an experienced Python instructor to lead in-person classes at our Midtown NYC facility. Classes are held on weekends (Sundays 10 AM – 5 PM). The instructor's initial availability is needed for classes running on most Sundays from August 30th to October 25th, with the potential to continue teaching another cohort afterward from mid-December into February. Responsibilities Teach engaging, hands-on Python lessons that cater to diverse learning styles. Execute lesson plans covering Python and its essential libraries. Leverage teaching experience to simplify complex concepts and facilitate interactive learning. Create an inclusive and collaborative classroom environment that promotes learning. Evaluate student progress and offer constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and continuously refine course materials. Support students of all skill levels by providing clear guidance and encouragement. You should be highly experienced in all of the following, as well as have the ability to teach them to new programmers: Python Pandas NumPy Matplotlib Scitkit-learn Beautiful Soup Plotly Dash You should also: Have experience teaching diverse groups in a classroom setting Be available to teach weekends (Sundays 10 AM – 5 PM) at our midtown NYC facility Be proficient in Zoom Pay: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour Work Location: In person
