For our client, we are seeking a Engineering Manager, Object Storage to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.This role will lead a team focused on a core storage capability that supports reliable, scalable product delivery in a modern software environment. You will partner closely with Product, Design, and infrastructure teams to shape technical direction, prioritize roadmaps, and drive execution from ideation through launch. The position combines people leadership, systems thinking, and technical decision-making to improve reliability, quality, and developer experience.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $150,000 – $180,000 annuallyResponsibilities Build and lead a team of engineers focused on object storage Drive execution on product initiatives from ideation to launch with a focus on reliability and quality Collaborate with Product, Design, and infrastructure teams to shape technical solutions and product roadmaps Engage in technical discussions to guide design decisions and architectural tradeoffs Foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement in engineering practices Help the team break down complex problems into manageable milestones for incremental value delivery Ensure awareness of developer experience and customer impact from built featuresQualifications 8+ years in engineering with a strong background in shipping impactful products and features 2+ years of people management experience, including mentorship and performance management Deep technical expertise in system design, architecture, and engineering tradeoffs Experience in creating engineering roadmaps that align business goals and user needs Proven ability to balance urgency with thoughtful execution in product delivery Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering, product, and design Sense of ownership for team outcomes and long-term system healthBenefits 4 weeks of paid vacation 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave for new parents Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, with a significant employer contribution Monthly wellness stipend for lifestyle, mental health, and hobbies Cell phone and internet subsidies Commuter benefits for Bay Area employees and home office stipends for remote workers Support for continuous learning and developmentOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
