Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pastry Cook position based in Orlando, FL at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort. The Pastry Cook will be responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting baked goods and desserts. Daily responsibilities include measuring ingredients, following recipes, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, and assisting in menu planning and development. Collaboration with the culinary team to deliver high-quality and visually appealing pastries will be a key aspect of this role. Qualifications Proficiency in Baking and Cooking techniques, with experience in creating a variety of pastries and dessertsStrong Creativity Skills for developing visually appealing and innovative pastry designs and recipesKnowledge of proper Bakery operations and processesCommitment to maintaining high Hygiene standards in a professional kitchenAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative team environmentPrevious experience as a pastry cook or in a similar role preferredCulinary certification or degree is a plus
