The role involves evaluating and treating patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including neurological, respiratory, and post-surgical complications.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disordersManage patients with dysphagia, stroke, neurological, and respiratory conditionsProvide care across multiple units, including ICU and acute care floorsPerform bedside swallow evaluations and therapy sessionsCollaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teamsMaintain accurate documentation in EMR systemsEducate patients and families on treatment plans and progressRequired QualificationsActive Georgia SLP LicenseCCC-SLP Certification (required)BLS CertificationMinimum 15-18 months of recent SLP experiencePreferred QualificationsExperience in acute care settingsExperience with MBS (Modified Barium Swallow) and FEES (preferred, not required)Strong clinical judgment and communication skillsPatient PopulationAcute care patients across hospital unitsICU, neurological, stroke, dysphagia, and respiratory casesFor more details reach at dparmar@navitashealth.com
