Temporary Irregular Procurement & Logistics TechnicianFLSA Status: Irregular Part-TimePay Grade: $22/hrWork Days: Irregular Part-Time as NeededReports To: CoordinatorPrimary PurposeTo support ESC Region 11 departments and participating school systems by coordinating procurement and logistics activities, including obtaining quotes, processing orders, receiving and delivering goods, and maintaining required documentation to ensure compliance with grant and business office procedures.QualificationsEducation/CertificationHigh School Diploma or equivalentSome college coursework preferredSpecial Knowledge/SkillsTeam-oriented attitude and ability to collaborate with ESC staff and school personnelAbility to multitask complex activitiesAbility to make independent decisions regarding planning, organizing, and schedulingAbility to use software to develop spreadsheets, track orders, and maintain documentationStrong attention to detail and organizationKnowledge of procurement and vendor processesPurchasing, or logistics support experience preferredEssential Duties and Responsibilities*This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities.**This position may be partially or completely funded using grant and/or federal monies and is assigned programs to include activities designed to enhance the effective and coordinated use of funds.General Job RequirementsObtain quotes for supplies and servicesVerify vendor status and complianceProcess goods and service orders using ESC business proceduresReceive and verify deliveriesCoordinate and deliver supplies to school districtsSchedule deliveries with school systemsEnsure completion of Supplement Not Supplant and Receipt of Goods formsMaintain organized documentation for complianceServe as the liaison between ESC, vendors, and districtsProvide professional customer serviceTrack and report procurement activitiesPerform other duties as assignedSupervisory DutiesNoneEquipment/Specialized Software UsedComputers, printers, spreadsheets, purchasing systems, and other tools necessary to perform job duties.Working Conditions (Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors)Mental: Public relations and people skills required; work with frequent interruptions; maintain professionalism and confidentiality.Physical: Ability to lift and deliver materials; prolonged computer use; frequent travel for deliveries within the ESC Region 11 service area.Environmental: Remote with travel throughout the service area for deliveries as needed.EvaluationAnnual performance evaluation will be performed in accordance with ESC Region 11 policies.
