You must live more than 30 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.Why You Should Apply:Competitive Pay: Earn up to $2430 per week, or $67.50 per hour – plus benefits!*Flexible Work Schedule: Enjoy a 14 week assignment 06/22/2026 - 09/26/2026 with a 36-hour work week and 3 shifts per week.Location: Geneva, New YorkGreat Benefits: Medical, 401(k) with company match, and more!* Pay package is based on 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined for travel positions.Position Overview Type of Position: Travel Description:• Full Time - 3x12s (7:00-7:30pm) scheduled as needed between Monday-Friday 3x12.0 • Day Shifts (2x12s/1-2x8s) M-F, every other SaturdayEducation:• Minimum - A.A.S. degree in Radiologic TechnologyLicense/Certifications:• NYS License • Certification as a radiologic, nuclear medicine or ultrasound technologist • Formal MRI-specific training preferred • BLS (through AHA or RQI required!)Experience:• Radiology Technology program (AMA approved 2-year program) • Previous experience in diagnostic radiology • Preferred - 1-2 years' experience in related radiology fields, with MRI experienceOther Requirements:• Maintains mandatory CEC-12 per year in Radiologic TechnologyResponsibility Summary:• Performs technical MRI assignments • Exercises complex skill, judgement and knowledge of the principles and methods of Magnetic Resonance Imaging • Performs diagnostic MRI studies as requested • Performs Infection Control according to Universal Precautions • MRI Technologist shall have the ability to provide care to infant, pediatric, adult and geriatric patientsEssential Job Functions:• Operates with accuracy: MRI equipment, coils and other related equipment of similar scope and complexity • Evaluates image quality and demonstrates accuracy of MRI positioning and coil selection based on procedure guidelines • Demonstrates competency in RIS • Utilizes system to enter and edit patient demographics and charges • Records other appropriate data as needed • Demonstrates competency with PACS for image processing, image review, proper protocol selection and troubleshooting • Ensures that proper magnet safety is adhered to for self, patient and other personnel by use of proper screening techniques • Ensures and follows the prescribed techniques in administering all aspects of MRI and contrast media • Recognizes emergency situations in regard to reactions to contrast media and takes appropriate action
