This is a hands-on, high-visibility role that requires both strong technical accounting expertise and the ability to influence operational performance in a fast-paced environment. You will partner directly with the General Manager and leadership team to own financial performance, drive accountability, and improve profitability across the business. This is not a passive reporting role. This is a position for someone who leans in, challenges the business, and drives results. Responsibilities: Act as a strategic financial partner to the General Manager and operations leaders, aligning financial performance with business objectivesCollaborate cross-functionally with service, sales, dispatch, fleet, customer service, purchasing, safety, and HR to evaluate financial impact and guide decisionsEstablish and maintain strong financial controls across inventory, purchasing, labor reporting, and A/P processesLead profitability analysis, labor efficiency tracking, and cost reduction initiatives across all operating areasOwn monthly financial reporting, quarterly forecasting, and annual operating and capital planningDrive an accurate and disciplined month-end and year-end close processMaintain balance sheet integrity and account reconciliationsLead and develop the local accounting team, setting a high-performance standardOversee billing, credit, and collections to optimize cash flowLead the annual budgeting process and enforce company-wide accounting policies and controls Why This Role Stands OutDirect ownership of a multi-million-dollar P<rue seat at the leadership tableAbility to influence business strategy and drive measurable resultsOpportunity to make a visible impact within a growing national organization Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or a related discipline and minimum of 5 years of general accounting experience are required.Prior management in high volume transactional accounting highly preferredRelated education and /or training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is required.Intermediate or expert proficiency using Microsoft Office products, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook are required. JD Edwards experience is a plus.Demonstrates strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills, with ability to establish cross function relationships.Proven leadership and possession of problems solving skills.Knowledge of computerized accounting systems to include word processing, spreadsheet software and integrated ERP/ accounting systems. *This posting provides details on potential compensation ranges and possibilities.
