Dynamics Test Technician

OverviewElement has an opportunity for a Dynamics Test Technician to work in our Vibration Testing Lab performing shock and vibration testing. Ideally we are seeking someone with experience operating vibration shakers OR we will consider trade school experience in the electronics test field. This is a hands-on position. You will roll up your sleeves and must know how to use hand and power tools.Pay range: $24-30/hrResponsibilitiesSetup and Run Vibration testsData collection utilizing control systems and accelerometersTroubleshooting test set upsOperating Vibration ControllersElectrical set upsReportingSkills / QualificationsExperience in dynamics or testing related to ElementElement will consider a recent Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering with relative coursework, projects or internship experience or related electrical or mechanical testing (material, environmental, dynamics/shock/vibe) or commensurate with experienceMust be able to operate hand/power toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent computer skills required; intermediate knowledge level ofMicrosoft Excel experience is requiredPhysical Demands:Frequency of required physical force: Minimum (moderate)
