The Crypto Services team at Client is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join its AppEng team. This role is ideal for problem solvers who enjoy tackling diverse challenges while driving one of our newest products—a project quickly gaining traction across Client.We're looking for an engineer with experience leading projects through delivery, and building and maintaining open source or community-driven initiatives. Will develop new features, fix issues, respond to community feedback, and create documentation. Your ability to balance technical execution with community engagement will be essential as you help shape this product's growth and adoption within Client.Expectations:Help design and build exciting new tooling which will provide essential business information to our SRE and OPS teams.Test and build reports on featuresEngage in issue triage and collaborate closely with engineering teams to rapidly address integration challenges.Create and refine technical documentation and intuitive self-service resources.Measure and report on key success metrics, particularly emphasizing the percentage increase in developers effectively utilizing self-service tools.Collaborate proactively with internal Crypto Services teams to help direct the roadmap and features of the internal products.Identify and drive opportunities for seamless integration of Crypto Services into foundational Client frameworks and developer workflows.Candidate will follow and adhere to team and crypto services engineering and development standardsQualificationsProficiency in Java, including strong software architecture, API design, and debugging abilities.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills,Self-starter, demonstrating strong systems thinking and the capability to generalize solutions across different problem spaces.Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Grafana).Experience supporting clients with various levels of experiencePreferred:Experience with Angular and TypeScript, including component-based architecture and RxJS patterns.Familiarity with programming languages such as Go, Python, or Shell scripting.Previous roles within developer experience (DevEx), platform engineering, or developer tools teams.Exposure to regulated environments or privacy-sensitive applications.Contributions to internal self-service platforms, onboarding automation, or developer portals.Pay Range: $65/hr - $70/hrThe specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
