Pay: $32.00–$34.00 per hour DOE
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday
Position Summary
Legends Logistics is seeking an organized, proactive, and dependable Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily administrative and operational functions of our office. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day operations, ensuring departments work collaboratively, deadlines are met, and office processes run efficiently.
Working closely with ownership, the Operations Supervisor will provide leadership to office staff, monitor workflow, coordinate between departments, and keep management informed of operational priorities and challenges. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and creating an organized, productive work environment.
Responsibilities
Operations & Office Leadership
Oversee the daily operations of the office to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.
Supervise, train, mentor, and support office staff.
Assign and prioritize daily workloads while monitoring productivity.
Hold employees accountable to company policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
Assist with onboarding and training new office employees.
Identify opportunities to improve office procedures and operational efficiency.
Act as the primary point of contact for daily operational questions and concerns.
Operational Coordination
Coordinate communication between Dispatch, Accounting, Compliance, and Ownership.
Monitor workflow across departments to ensure operational tasks are completed on schedule.
Follow up with internal departments regarding time-sensitive documentation, billing, permits, and operational deadlines.
Communicate operational concerns, recommendations, and significant issues to ownership.
Assist with implementing new processes and company initiatives.
Compliance & Fleet Administration
Oversee compliance deadlines related to permits, registrations, insurance, and driver qualification files.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Coordinate required filings and renewals with appropriate departments.
Ensure company records remain organized and up to date.
Coordinate preparation for DOT, IFTA, insurance, customer, and regulatory audits by organizing documentation, responding to auditor requests, and ensuring timely completion of all required materials.
Administrative Support
Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and operational documentation.
Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.
Answer and direct phone calls as needed while supporting office staff.
Assist with special projects assigned by ownership.
Qualifications
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Experience in trucking, transportation, logistics, or a related industry is highly preferred.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience with accounting support, dispatch software, or compliance management is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
