Assistant DesignerOverviewWe are seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Designer to join our creative team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to development of seasonal women's apparel collections by supporting the design process from concept to execution. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for aesthetics, strong technical skills, and a passion for fashion and trend forecasting. This position is designed to foster growth and creativity within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesAssist the Creative Director with a variety of daily tasks across the design and development processResearch and forecast emerging trends in fabric, color, silhouette, and styling to inform seasonal collectionsSupport the development of mood boards, sketches, and technical drawings that communicate design concepts clearlyCollaborate with team to refine design ideas and ensure alignment with brand visionParticipate in fabric sourcing, sample making, and fitting sessions to ensure designs meet quality and aesthetic standardsCommunicate with vendors and internal teams to track sample development and revisionsAssist in preparing design presentations, seasonal line reviews, and lookbooksMaintain organized files of sketches, CAD files, photographs, and project documentation for efficient workflow managementQualifications0-2 years of experience in fashion design or a related creative field; internship experience will be consideredAA or BA degree in Fashion Design (or equivalent experience and education)Strong fashion sense with the ability to forecast and interpret trendsProficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and IllustratorStrong understanding of fashion design principles, color theory, and layoutAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalHighly motivated, proactive, and eager to learnStrong team player with a collaborative mindsetJoin us as an Assistant Designer to help shape inspiring seasonal collections while growing your skills in a vibrant, collaborative team environment.Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
