Position Title: Armed Security Officer - Manufacturing FacilityLocation: Memphis, TennesseeEmployment Type: Full-Time (Static Post)Pay Rate: $21-$22 per hour (Overtime Occasionally)Overview:We are currently seeking professional and experienced Armed Security Officers for a static post at a manufacturing facility in Memphis, TN. This position is critical in maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment for employees, visitors, and property. The hours are M-F from 2:00pm-10:00pm.Qualified candidates must be dependable, well-equipped, and capable of exercising sound judgment in high-stress situations.Prior security or client-facing experience is preferred.Key Responsibilities:Maintain a constant and visible armed security presence at the facilityMonitor access points, verify credentials, and enforce site-specific entry protocolsConduct patrols of the premises, including interior and exterior areasRespond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and disturbancesComplete accurate and detailed incident reportsSupport company policies regarding safety and conductAssist in conflict resolution and de-escalation as necessaryMaintain professional appearance, situational awareness, and safety readiness at all timesJob Requirements: Must possess a valid Tennessee Armed Security Guard LicenseMust have a valid driver's license and reliable transportationMust provide your own duty firearm, duty belt, and appropriate security gear (minimum Level III retention holster required)Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check and drug screeningMinimum of 1 year of armed security or law enforcement experience preferredMust be able to defend oneself, draw a firearm, and protect life and property under duressStrong communication, conflict resolution, and incident reporting skillsMust be physically capable of standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periodsPreferred Qualifications: Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial facility securityAdditional certifications (e.g., Taser, OC Spray, Baton)
