Our work environment includes: Growth opportunities Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanic or an individual willing to learn the trade to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for using critical thinking skills to asses, trouble shoot, assemble, and repairing various types of bicycles. Your expertise in customer service and technical knowledge will ensure the satisfaction of our clients. Duties: - Make and update work orders -Troubleshoot and identify issues of improvement on bicycles -Identify and replace compatible components - Diagnose and repair mechanical issues - Conduct tests to ensure proper functionality - Utilize tools to complete tasks - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions - Assist with retail sales of bicycle parts and answering mechanical questions Requirements: -Have critical thinking skills when it comes to mechanics - Proficient in using power tools and hand tools - Excellent customer service skills - Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks - Basic understanding of retail sales processes What would set you apart - Strong knowledge of bicycle systems and components - Avid cyclist who enjoys every aspect of the bicycle from the inexpensive to really nice bicycles -Wanting to make a difference in the community and spread the joy of cycling whether its for leisure, sport, or commuting.
