Lube Technician

Essential Job Responsibilities: Repair Work- Performs work as outlined in the Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy and in accordance with dealership and factory standards. Road test vehicles when required or refers to the test technician. Communication- Communicates with Service Advisor about the status of the repair, to include additional work if needed. Must also communicate with the parts department regarding parts for the repair. Advises Service Advisor if repair work results in a change in the vehicle appearance or condition. Documentation Must document all work done and recommended on the repair order Training- Must be current in all mandated factory and dealership training. Tools and equipment Must maintain both personal and company tools and equipment. Additional responsibilities as assigned. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 months of related experience Skills and Abilities: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate. Ability to function well in a high-paced environment. Valid driver's license. Physical Requirements: Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. .Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
