Job DetailsDescriptionAs a key member of the property’s golf operations team, the Cart Staff reports directly to the General Manager or Golf Shop Supervisor and attends to the golf cart fleet as well as other duties as directed.Qualifications, Knowledge And Skill RequirementsMust have strong customer/guest orientationMust have strong communication and interpersonal skillsMust be dependableMust have friendly personality and enjoy working with the publicWorking knowledge of the rules of golf is preferredAbility to learn and enforce course policies, rules, and regulationsAbility to follow verbal and written instructionsAbility to use equipment and tools properly and safelyMust be able to safely operate golf carts and related equipmentPosition ResponsibilitiesMaintains professional appearanceBrings carts from the cart barn in the morning and returns carts to the cart barn at the end of the dayCleans, waters, checks carts after each use and restocks as requiredCleans and maintains cart barn/cart washing areaWashes, dries, and stores cart each night to ensure they are ready for golfer use the following dayReceives and communicates complaints to the Golf ShopWorks closely with Golf Shop staff to prepare and conduct golf tournamentsImplements and supports all course policies and programs as communicated by managementPerforms other duties as assigned by supervisor or managerBenefits & CompensationPay rate at $20.77/hrEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)401k (19+)Holiday PayPaid Sick Leave
