This position supports electronic systems, integration and testing for the Testing Infrastructure Group (TIG). TIG at NSWC Crane provides specialized, high-reliability facilities and engineering expertise for the full life cycle --design, development, test, and evaluation --of Navy strategic systems, electronic warfare, and weapon systems. They focus on critical testing for radiation hardening, hardware-in-the-loop, and complex electronic systems to ensure mission success. You will be working onsite in a fast paced and dynamic environment where teamwork and collaboration are essential. SECRET to CLEARANCE Requirement: Interim Secret to start. Continued employment contingent upon favorable final Secret clearance.Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain electronic systems, subsystems, and test equipment in support of EEW programsPerform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of electronic hardware, wiring, and associated componentsSupport system integration, test events, and demonstrations, including Developmental Test (DT) and field evaluationsExecute test procedures and data collection activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with program requirementsInterpret and work from technical schematics and engineering documentationAssist engineers in system setup, calibration, and validation activitiesIdentify and resolve technical issues and failures in operational environmentsEnsure compliance with safe protocols, configuration management, and standardsMaintain and track test equipment, tools, and inventoryPrepare and contribute to technical reports, logs, and documentationQualificationsSkills and Experience:8+ years of experience supporting electronic systems, integration, and testingAbility to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manualsExperience with test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators)Experience supporting field and operations and shipboard/aviation systemsAbility to work independently and troubleshoot complex issuesExperience supporting DoD or federal government programs, particularly EEW, RF, or mission systemsFamiliarity with test and evaluation processes (DT/OT)Experience with RF systems, communications equipment, or sensor systemsExperience working in operational or deployed environmentsEducation:Associate's degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)SAIC is a premier technology integrator providing full life cycle services and solutions in the technical, engineering, intelligence, and enterprise information technology markets.
