Manufacturing Engineering Manager

We are partnering with a local manufacturer in their search for an Engineering Manager.Located in the Islip area, the ideal candidate will come with 5+ years of supervisory experience.Oversee and manage a team of manufacturing engineers.Develop, refine, and optimize manufacturing processes.Estimate production timelines, labor needs, equipment, materials, and costs for informed decision-making.Employ computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as Catia V5, to create 3D models from 2D blueprints and design manufacturing strategies.Produce precise CAD drawings and product specifications that accurately reflect customer expectations.Organize and prioritize work assignments in conjunction with other departments.Establish manufacturing tolerances and resolve technical challenges through problem-solving and analytical skills.Provide technical assistance to the shop floor and subcontractors on all engineering matters. Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred5+ years of experience as a manufacturing engineerExpertise in Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing methodologiesProficient in MS Office, CAD, CATIA 5, ERP Systems, and Epicor 10
