Environmental Field Supervisor
Job Duties And ResponsibilitiesManage company jobs as assigned on budget and on time; accountable for successful completion of projectPlan the work, prepare schedules and regularly review with Area ManagerConduct and attend project meetings necessary to manage the jobCommunicate with the customer daily to assure quality of service. Assure that change orders are communicated before additional work is completedComply with DOT, HAZMAT and Company regulations including daily logs, timesheets, vehicle inspection reports, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, etcUnderstand and ensure the requirements of handling and transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials are adhered to on job sitesPerform physical labor including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objectsIdentify, remove, load/unload, transport and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous materialsOperate and maintain equipment, tools and trucks in a safe manner according to all Company H&S policies and proceduresMaintain up-to-date DOT, OSHA and company required trainingMust be available for emergency response 24 hours a day, 7 days a weekComply with on-going and random drug testing and physicals as required by the companyConduct daily and weekly on-the-job safety meetings in order to comply with job specific and company safety policiesPerform other duties as assignedSkills & QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED equivalent required, two-year degree in the trades, business or environmental industry preferredMinimum of 5 years environmental services industry experienceHands on field experience in equipment operation and crew supervision requiredAbility to use and wear Personal Protective EquipmentAbility to lift up to 70 lbsValid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferredExperience in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Must have good verbal and written verbal communication skillsAbility to work nights and weekends and to travel out of town on short notice for extended periods of time
