Director of Operations -Skilled Nursing

Job Title: Director of Operations – Post Acute Provider ServicesJob Type: Full Time Monday through Friday - on call for urgent matters after hoursLocation: Hybrid in Georgia - with travel requiredPosition OverviewThis is a high accountability, field facing operations role focused on managing providers, facilities, and market performance.The Director of Operations is responsible for ensuring full provider coverage across assigned facilities, maintaining strong relationships with facility administrators, and holding providers accountable to productivity and documentation expectations.This is not a back office or administrative role. This position requires daily interaction with providers and facility leadership, ownership of scheduling and staffing gaps, and direct management of provider performance within a post-acute or skilled nursing environment.Core ResponsibilitiesProvider Management, Coverage, and SchedulingOwn provider coverage across all assigned facilities, including daily scheduling, call coverage, and gap resolutionConduct provider interviews and support hiring decisions in partnership with Talent AcquisitionManage provider schedules to ensure full coverage and alignment with census and facility needsHold providers accountable to productivity expectations, including encounter volume and timeliness of documentationAddress performance concerns directly with providers and partner with leadership on corrective action when neededFacility Relationship ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for facility administrators across your marketBuild and maintain strong, consistent relationships with SNF leadership to ensure contract retention and satisfactionConduct regular facility check ins to address concerns, resolve issues, and proactively improve service deliverySupport onboarding of new providers within facilities to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of careMarket Operations and PerformanceOwn the operational performance of your market, including provider productivity, coverage stability, and facility satisfactionPartner with Regional and Executive Leadership to execute staffing plans, market expansion, and operational initiativesMonitor daily operations and proactively address gaps in coverage, scheduling, or provider performanceEnsure compliance with internal processes, documentation standards, and healthcare regulationsRequired Experience and QualificationsMinimum 5 years of healthcare operations experience with direct involvement in provider management and schedulingMinimum 1 year of experience working within a skilled nursing facility or post-acute environmentDemonstrated experience managing provider coverage, including scheduling across multiple locationsExperience working directly with physicians, nurse practitioners, or physician assistants in a performance driven environmentProven ability to manage facility relationships and serve as a primary contact for administratorsStrong experience addressing provider performance, productivity expectations, and operational issuesBachelor’s degree preferred in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related fieldMust be comfortable working in a fast paced, high accountability environment with daily operational demandsAbility to travel between facilities within the assigned marketValid driver’s license required
