Working alongside experienced teammates, this role helps maintain machine performance, fluid quality, and safe working environments at customer facilities. Technicians travel to customer locations to clean equipment, remove and replace industrial fluids, and support service projects that keep production operations running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, learning technical equipment, and building relationships with customers while delivering dependable service.Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning on industrial machinery and metalworking fluid systems at customer sitesRemove, replace, recycle, and process metalworking fluids and related materialsCollect, transport, and properly dispose of used fluids, waste, and debris in accordance with safety proceduresFollow established service checklists and work instructions to complete maintenance tasks accuratelyAssist with mixing, diluting, and verifying chemical solutions used in industrial metalworking processesSet up and operate service equipment used for machine cleaning and fluid managementMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at customer facilities and service locationsSafely operate hand tools, power tools, and service equipment as required for job tasksDrive company service vehicles to customer locations and maintain vehicle readiness and basic inventoryCommunicate effectively with teammates and customers while working in active manufacturing environmentsIdentify and report safety risks, equipment issues, or improvement opportunities during service workSupport continuous improvement efforts that increase efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfactionFollow all EHSS policies, safety procedures, and required PPE guidelines while performing workRepresent Ascentek professionally by delivering dependable service and building positive customer relationshipsEducation: High School Diploma or GED Experience and/or Training: Ability to safely use hand tools and basic mechanical equipmentAbility to perform physically demanding work in industrial environmentsBasic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn industrial service equipment and processesAbility to follow written instructions, checklists, and safety proceduresAbility to work effectively as part of a teamLicense/ Certification: Valid driver’s license required and ability to operate company vehiclesKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong attention to detail and commitment to safetyAbility to communicate clearly with teammates and customersMechanical curiosity and willingness to learn technical systemsAbility to organize tasks and complete work independently once trainedCommitment to living Ascentek values and contributing to a positive team environmentPrevious experience in manufacturing, maintenance, mechanical service, or industrial environmentsExperience working with industrial equipment, pumps, fluid systems, or maintenance toolsForklift certification or experience operating material handling equipmentFamiliarity with metalworking fluids, industrial chemicals, or machine maintenance practicesExperience working at customer sites or in field service environmentsPHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:Frequent lifting and carrying of equipment and materials up to 50 poundsFrequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in tight or confined spaces around machineryENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Work performed at external customer facilities including manufacturing and industrial environmentsExposure to moderate high noise levels, industrial equipment, and chemical handling environmentsRegular driving between service locations using company vehiclesOccasional overnight travel depending on customer service needsAt Ascentek, we are committed to providing accurate and up-to-date information about our career opportunities.
