If you encounter issues, email a Word resume to Ty at [email protected] and reference Request ID: 3033993 - Web Developer .Role OverviewThe main function of the Web Developer is to design, code, and create system specifications, analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document, and implement complex software applications.Responsibilities Design, code, test, document, implement, and maintain application programs and interfaces Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results Modify, install, and prepare technical documentation for system software applications Monitor systems capacity and performance, plan and execute disaster recovery procedures, and provide technical support Identify, escalate and document production impact issues Evaluate user requests for new or modified computer programs to determine feasibility, cost, time required and compatibility with current systems and capabilitiesRequired Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field required 2-4 years experience required Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage one’s time Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue Knowledge of computer hardware and software Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles Knowledge of computer development software as it relates to systems, such as SQL, VisualBasic, etc Expertise with COBOL, MVS, CICS, JCL, or other mainframe tools and utilities Develop and maintain scalable front-end applications using React Build and optimize back-end services and APIs using C# (.NET) Design and manage relational databases using SQL Server Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes environments Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Fast learner. Need to ramp up with internal tools and processes quicklyEducation/Experience: 2-4 overall years of experience in the field A degree is a preference for this role as they are more focused on experiences.Top 3 Requirements Full-stack web development (React + backend services) Devops experience like CI/CD Cloud development experienceTypical Day Team Purpose: The team is responsible for building internal portals that support the Index Server team's tools, along with developing the foundational infrastructure for the portal platform.
