"We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a 13-weeks travel/contract assignment in Pleasant Hill, CA 94523. Both local and traveler candidates are welcome to apply."Job Details:Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMGuaranteed Hours: 35 hours per weekWeekly Pay Rate: $1260 - $1400Key Responsibilities:Assist the Physical Therapist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.Monitor and document patient progress, including response to treatment and any changes in condition.Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, mobility techniques, and injury prevention strategies.Ensure compliance with safety standards and facility policies while maintaining a clean and organized treatment area.Collaborate with Physical Therapists, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.Maintain up-to-date patient records and documentation as per facility guidelines and regulatory requirements.Requirements:Minimum Experience: 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a clinical or rehabilitation setting.Experience in hospitals, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, or home health settings is beneficial.Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.Valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (required).CPR/BLS certification.Note:Locals accepted - local pay rate will apply for candidates residing within 50 miles.Ready to take the next step?
