Come join our 50+ strong team that makes Eagle Title the best title company, voted year after year.Job Duties & Responsibilities:Taking a residential title file from inception through closing with persistent attention to detail and follow up. Ensuring compliance with contracts, settlement statements, mortgages, deeds, and policies of title insurance. Verifying that monetary amounts are correct to satisfy all mortgages, taxes and judgments, and overseeing the collection of all fees and charges associated with the settlement. Preparing and reviewing documents necessary for settlement. Coordinating with buyers, sellers and real estate agents to obtain all of the information necessary to facilitate a smooth settlement experience. Reviewing all legal documentation to ensure that it is accurate, properly notarized and recorded, and prepared and submitted in proper form. Updating proprietary software with follow-ups, results, and other data entry. Candidate Attributes:Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment driven by multiple transaction deadlines. Understanding and maintaining urgency for all transactions. Positive, pro-active and professional attitude. High level of initiative and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Complete discretion and ability to work with confidential information. Excellent analytical and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail. Strong written and oral communication skills. Adept using Microsoft Office 365 suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel) as well as Adobe PDF creator and editor.
