Human Resources-Summer Recruiting Intern

Job SummaryThe Recruiting Intern role will be immersed in every aspect of our recruitment operations. This will include staffing projects and range from responding to applicant inquiries, conducting phone screenings and facilitating in-person interviews to scheduling pre-onboarding activities. You will also attend company recruiting events, prepare and analyze staffing data and reports, and support various new hire engagement activities.Learning OutcomesYou will be joining a highly professional, client-focused, and dedicated team of recruiting professionals and will gain insight into, knowledge of, and hands-on experience in recruiting for defense contractor manufacturing and engineering. You will learn and develop skills in managing the workflow for recruiting and hiring in both high-volume and highly technical roles.Responsibilities And TasksDriving activities in support of high-volume recruitingPosting and refreshing job opportunities on all relevant platformsManaging job description database projectsManaging inquires and accessibility requestsHandling incoming applications and screenings, and related documentationOrganizing interview schedules and scheduling pre-employment testing and initiating background checksMaintain on-going contact with candidates through the processAttending recruiting fairs and eventsSupport the Talent Acquisition Team with other tasks as assignedBasic RequirementsSparton interns must meet the following criteria:Active pursuit of a Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or aboveMust be 18 years of age or olderMust be a U.S. CitizenMust be able to work on-site in De Leon Springs, FLPreferred ExperiencePrior experience with ATS, Microsoft Office including Teams applicationsPrior experience with customer service phone support, administrative coordination activitiesOrganizational skillsExceptional communication skills, both verbal and writtenMentor: Talent Acquisition ManagerTravel RequirementLess than 10% local area travel for recruiting eventsPhysical DemandsThe physical demands describe here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
