Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)A great school district in the Lake Wales, Florida area is now looking to hire an Occupational Therapist (OT) for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time, school-based contract position working with students from PreK through age 22. The district is looking for a qualified OT with pediatric experience and strong assessment skills.The director is ready to review candidates, so please apply today for immediate consideration!Responsibilities:· Provide occupational therapy evaluations, assessments, and treatment services for students.· Support students with fine motor, visual motor, sensory, developmental, and functional needs.· Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs.· Collaborate with teachers, families, related service providers, and school staff.· Participate in IEP meetings and assist with documentation, progress monitoring, and treatment planning.· Provide services to students across PreK through age 22.Experience:· Pediatric experience required or strongly preferred.· School-based experience preferred.· Experience using pediatric assessments such as the Peabody Developmental Motor Scales (PDMS), Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency (BOT), and Beery-Buktenica Developmental Test of Visual-Motor Integration (VMI) preferred.Education/Requirements:· Active Florida Occupational Therapist License required.· Must meet all state and school district requirements for OT practice.Employment Type: Full-time, ContractAssignment Dates: August 2026 – May 2027Work Hours: 38.75 hours per week, 5 days per weekPay Rate: $45–$50 per hourBenefits:· Highly competitive compensation· Weekly pay· Comprehensive insurance including medical, dental, vision, life, and more· Matching 401(k)· Flexible spending accountTo learn more about this Occupational Therapist opening in Lake Wales, FL, please submit your application and current resume for immediate consideration.
