Assembler (Weekend Shift)
Job DescriptionPerform complex assembly, assembly testing, adjustments and quality checksReview production data to identify areas on non-conformance and implement modifications as necessaryPrepare status reportsWork with team members to devise and develop modifications and improvements to equipment, processes, systems, and toolingEnsure and verify material is handled and loaded on production lines properlyGive direction and training on product/customer specifications and workmanship standardsAudit all stages of the build sequence for completeness, consistency, and workmanshipProvide immediate feedback and training when problems occurWork independently with moderate supervisionQualificationsKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesSkilled in the operation of a variety of assembly toolsVisual acuity and manual dexterityAbility to exercise discretion and independent judgmentGood verbal and written communication skillsGood MS Word, Excel and MRP skillsAbility to sit, stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.Qualifications2-4+ years production or related work experience High School diploma or equivalentVocational or technical training or equivalentAbout UsIchor is an experienced leader in the critical subsystems and turnkey process equipment marketplace.
