This is an excellent opportunity for someone withfoundational IT knowledge and SQL skills who is eager to grow in the field ofElectronic Data Interchange (EDI). The ideal candidate will be a quick learnerwith strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for supportingbusiness-critical systems.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAnalyze and troubleshoot EDI errors and failures across various transaction typesProvide technical support to internal users and external trading partnersMonitor EDI transaction flows and proactively identify issuesAssist in onboarding new trading partners and maintaining existing integrationsDocument issues, resolutions, and procedures for future referenceCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirementsLearn and apply EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and XML.LOCATIONFull Time, Hybrid position in Warren, New Jersey.Candidate MUST be able to reliably commute daily.Availability for travel may be requiredafter gaining sufficient knowledgeBENEFITS401(k)401(k) matchingHealth, Dental, Vision insuranceEmployee discountsFlexible spending accountHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveQualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent certification/experienceBasic understanding of EDI formats (e.g., X12, EDIFACT, XML, flat files)Familiarity with writing and executing SQL queries (MS SQL Server preferred)Strong analytical and troubleshooting skillsGood understanding of network protocols such as FTP, SFTP, AS2, and VANExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritiesWillingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced technical environmentPreferred but NotRequiredPrior experience in EDI support or data integrationExposure to ocean shipping industry processes or systems
