This role is responsible for supporting and scaling our Citizen Developer program by providing structured training, mentorship, and governance-aligned development support.This role empowers business analysts to rapidly translate their domain expertise into analytics solutions that meet evolving stakeholder needs. Leveraging a hub-and-spoke data architecture, analysts access enterprise-governed data while maintaining the agility to build function-specific insights, balancing centralized quality with decentralized responsiveness.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalytics Enablement & Citizen Developer SupportServe as primary point of contact for Citizen Developers across multiple business functions in a manufacturing organizationProvide hands-on advisement for dashboard development, data modeling, and visualization best practicesHost regular office hours to support varying skill levels and facilitate peer learning opportunitiesPromote scalable, reusable development patterns and component librariesPartner with BI teams to understand data availability, architectural constraints, and platform capabilitiesDevelop role-based training paths for analysts and power users at varying skill levelsCreate and maintain enablement materials including guides, templates, standards documentation, and video tutorialsFacilitate workshops and practical learning sessions aligned with real business use casesAssess skill gaps and recommend personalized development plansCoordinate with external training providers where appropriate, ensuring consistency between external curriculum and internal standardsGovernance & StandardsChampion data governance standards and best practices within the Citizen Developer communityEnforce development guardrails including naming conventions, documentation requirements, and data lineage practicesCollaborate with Data Governance team to translate technical standards into practical guidance for business analystsConduct quality reviews of citizen-developed applicationsCollaborate with IT Security and Data Privacy on access management and data handling education Program Management & MeasurementTrack and report on Citizen Developer program metrics including active developers, applications created, user adoption, and quality indicatorsMaintain registry of citizen-developed applications and ownersProvide regular reporting on program health, training effectiveness, and skill development progress Platform ExpertiseMaintain expert-level proficiency in Qlik Cloud, including Set Analysis, data modeling, and load scriptingMaintain working knowledge of Power BI sufficient to guide development and understand architectural differencesUnderstand Snowflake data structures, semantic layer conceptsStay current on platform capabilities and emerging best practices Required Qualifications5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, analytics, or data visualization roles with at least 2 years in a training, enablement, or developer support capacityQlik Cloud proficiency including data modeling, Set Analysis, and performance optimizationWorking knowledge of Power BI and ability to compare platform strengths and limitations Preferred QualificationsDegree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldExperience with Snowflake or modern cloud data warehousesFamiliarity with medallion architecture and semantic data modelingPrevious experience with analytics in manufacturing environmentThis position is NOT eligible for visa sponsorship or C2C.EEO Statement: Victaulic is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EOE/M/F/Vets/Disabled) employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
