The role involves performance tuning, troubleshooting, security administration, upgrades, disaster recovery, and production support for mission-critical applications.Key ResponsibilitiesCICS AdministrationInstall, configure, and maintain CICS regionsPerform CICS upgrades, migrations, and maintenanceDefine and manage CICS resources using CEDA/CSDSupport CICSPlex environmentsSystem Monitoring & PerformanceMonitor region health and transaction performanceAnalyze SMF/RMF reportsTune CICS parameters for optimal performanceIdentify and resolve bottlenecksProblem DeterminationTroubleshoot CICS abends and region failuresAnalyze dumps, traces, logs, and system messagesCoordinate with application and infrastructure teamsProvide root-cause analysis for incidents
