Senior Accountant
We are seeking a high-performing Senior Accountant to drive financial accuracy, strengthen balance sheet integrity, and lead fixed asset accounting within a manufacturing environment.
This is a hands-on, ownership-driven role—not a maintenance position. We're looking for someone who challenges inconsistencies, digs into the details, and ensures financial data is fully supportable, audit-ready, and aligned with strong internal controls. The ideal candidate will have strong IFRS skills.
What You'll Own Month-End Close & Financial Reporting
Lead month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
Deliver timely, accurate, and fully supported financial results
Analyze performance and provide clear, actionable variance explanations
Identify issues early and drive resolution
Balance Sheet Integrity
Prepare and review reconciliations (cash, prepaids, accruals, intercompany)
Ensure all balances are fully supported and audit-ready
Investigate discrepancies and resolve efficiently
Maintain organized, defensible documentation
Fixed Assets & Capital Controls
Manage the full fixed asset lifecycle, including CIP (Construction in Progress)
Enforce capitalization policies and ensure compliance
Reconcile subledger to general ledger and record depreciation
Partner with operations to validate assets and capital spend
Monitor CIP aging, approvals, and documentation
Identify misclassified, idle, or impaired assets
AP / AR Support
Provide backup support for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Assist with invoicing, payments, and cash application
Ensure continuity during peak periods or absences
Identify and implement process improvements
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience
Manufacturing experience (preferred)
Strong fixed asset accounting experience (highly preferred)
SAP or ERP system experience (preferred)
