The role focuses on assessing patient nutritional needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support optimal patient outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plansProvide medical nutrition therapy for patients with acute and chronic conditionsMonitor patient progress and modify nutrition interventions as neededEducate patients and families on dietary guidelines and nutrition managementCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionalsAccurately document nutrition assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical recordParticipate in scheduled weekend coverageEnsure compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policiesRequired QualificationsRegistered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential requiredRelevant clinical experience preferredStrong communication and patient education skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environmentFor more details contact at jmckenzie@navitashealth.com
