Known for its lively atmosphere, timeless dishes, and commitment to hospitality, our team delivers a high quality dining experience rooted in consistency, teamwork, and attention to detail.As part of Vine Hospitality, we are committed to developing our teams through strong culinary standards, collaboration, and a culture of growth.Our Mission: Serving with Love, bringing the highest quality food to our guests by supporting and coaching our BOH team on Food and Beverage standards, policies, procedures, and systems that ensure consistency and excellence in every dish.SummaryWe are currently seeking two Line Cooks to join our team at Left Bank Santana Row for the following rolesLine Cook Grill Evening Dinner ShiftLine Cook Saut&eacute; Morning Day ShiftThese roles are responsible for executing high quality dishes while maintaining consistency, timing, and presentation standards.The Grill Line Cook will focus on cooking proteins and executing dishes during high volume dinner service.The Saut&eacute; Line Cook will support morning and daytime service, focusing on saut&eacute;ed items, sauces, and prep.Accurately and efficiently cook meats, fish, vegetables, soups and other hot food products as well as prepare and portion food products prior to cooking. Responsible for preparing food in compliance with all sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards while following established food production programs and procedures. Responsible for proper use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss, waste, and fraud. Performs additional duties related to final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing components for all menu items.Requirements:Previous experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook in a high volume restaurant preferredExperience working on grill or saut&eacute; station strongly preferred depending on assigned roleAbility to cook proteins to proper temperature and execute dishes with consistency and accuracyStrong understanding of basic cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation standardsAbility to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detailStrong communication skills and ability to work as part of a teamAbility to follow direction from Chef and kitchen leadershipMust be able to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needsAbility to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 30 poundsCompany-sponsored health and welfare plans as of the first of the month after successful completion of 90 days of employment, which include: Medical Vision Dental Life Insurance Long-term Disability A tax-deferred 401(k) investment saving plan after one year of service Dining Discounts Room for growth To learn more about our team, please visit our Corporate page to dive deeper into Our Story.
