Field Service Technician (Chicago North, IL)

Service Tech Opportunity in Chicagoland AreaApex Systems is hiring for a Service Tech in the Chicagoland Area!Pay Range: $25-27/hr per hourly based off experience and backgroundTop Must Have Technologies or Required Experience:CCTV Experience (preferred)BA (Burglar Alarm) ExperienceLow voltage experienceReliable transportation- SUV/Large Sedan with 4 doors.Has basic hand tools (Screwdriver, Plyers, wire cutters, drills, multi meter, etc)6 ft + ladder (can be a ladder that collapses down)Must have a current and valid State Driver's License.Nice To Haves:Networking background (TECH SAVVY)Organized and great with keeping track of inventoryGreat customer service skills- you will be interacting with customer dailySales background- you will be upselling at each jobAV experienceSmart home installation experienceMinimum Job Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.Current valid State Driver's License.Must own reliable transportation(need a specific insurance policy), basic hand tools (screwdrivers, plyers, wire cutters, and a drill), and a 6-8 foot ladder.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Low Voltage equipment installs, add-ons, conversions, radio replacement, and wire pulling for residential and small business customers.Running remote tests to ensure equipment is operating properlyInteracting with customers to include educating on servicesTracking of all inventory and jobs on smartphones, laptops, or tablets.Perks:Will be reimbursed $.70/ mile up to 200 miles a weekApex Benefits Overview:Apex offers a range of supplemental benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and other insurance plans that offer an optional layer of financial protection.
