Manufacturing Technician - Electrical
Manufacturing TechnicianAs a manufacturing technician, you will be part of a team responsible for the assembly and testing of our L5 ground-up vehicles. You will support both the build, diagnostics, and testing of our vehicle pre-production vehicles and subassemblies. Being comfortable with mechanical and electrical systems is a must. There will be regular use of hand, power, and diagnostic tools. The role also supports bring-up activities of the vehicles which require the use of your debug and diagnostic skills of electrical circuits. Your feedback from the build and bring-up activities will go directly to our engineers to help create and refine key systems and move the company forward into the start of production.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree with 2 to 4 years of experience working as a technician in a manufacturing environmentExperience with basic hand and power toolsExperience with diagnostic toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to read electrical schematicsAbility to manage multiple projects and deliverablesApplicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2Preferred Skills & QualificationsAutomotive/OEM experience is a plus (specifically in EOL/diagnostics/repair)Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesWork closely with engineers and other technicians on building, diagnosing, and testing the vehiclesComplete daily tasks to ensure on-time completion of the projectProvide feedback to necessary team members to assist in future developmentRegularly organize and maintain the build areaWork within all Environmental Health and Safety guidelinesIdentify areas of improvement in quality, efficiency, and safety
