Retail Sales Associate

**Job Overview:** We are seeking a friendly and attentive Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. **Responsibilities:** - Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner. - Operate a cash register, accurately handling cash transactions and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. - Assist with stocking shelves, maintaining store displays, and ensuring merchandise is properly rotated and faced. - Utilize basic math skills to accurately count change, operate a cash register, and perform other sales-related tasks. - Sell products to customers, promoting special offers and discounts as needed. - Keep track of sales and inventory, reporting discrepancies to management as needed. - Collaborate with other sales associates to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment. - Perform other duties as assigned by management. **Skills:** - Proficiency with cash register systems and cash handling procedures. - Experience working in a grocery store or retail environment. - Basic math skills and ability to perform sales-related calculations accurately. - Ability to supervise and assist other sales associates as needed. - Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor. - Knowledge of retail math and the ability to apply it to sales and inventory management. - Strong sales skills and the ability to promote products effectively. - Ability to stock shelves and maintain store displays. - Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift boxes and other merchandise.
